ZESM is co-organizing two events at COP30, both on 15 November 2025, as part of the COP30 Action Agenda: “Scaling e-fuels to Accelerate Maritime Decarbonisation” is organized by the Zero-Emission Shipping Mission, hashtag#GreenHydrogenCatapult / hashtag#RMI and the hashtag#GlobalEthicalFinanceInitiative. The session will showcase the potential of e-fuels as a scalable maritime decarbonization solution and enable collaborative problem solving by bringing together diverse actors from the energy, shipping and finance sectors to address implementation barriers through the highlighting of real-world case studies and solutions. In a second event, spearheaded by Green Hydrogen Catapult (RMI), the Zero-Emission Shipping Mission will engage in and co-facilitate a roundtable Plan to Accelerate Solutions (PAS) Implementation Workshop. Gathering the participatory initiatives of the PAS for Maritime Decarbonization, the roundtable will facilitate a discussion of how to operationalize the PAS and align on next steps for working toward the shared goals articulated within the PAS.
